Basically, I have an array, and I want to add a specific value to the ith row and jth column in the array.
Suppose I have:

Y = zeros(N,N);

Y(1,1) = 1;

Y(2,1) = 2;

Then if I want to add 2 to Y(1,2), Y(1,2) = 2 + Y(1,2), then I get 2+2, which is 4.
