I wanted to give this game a chance after having played the preview earlier this year and seeing how well geared it was. While I have yet to see any of the endings of the different characters, the game’s story is a lot darker than I expected it to be. After about five hours of playing, I believe this game is a bit of a slow burn, especially because there’s no quick or easy way of winning the game.

The bottom line is that the game would have been more enjoyable to me if it was a real RPG. While there are still a lot of things I like about it, such as the turn based combat and the interesting character designs, I found the story more tedious than my expectations. The combat is still good, but I feel like it could be more engaging because of the lack of RPG elements. At the end of the day, this game just wasn’t the type of game I was looking for.
