How can I find out the color of a parameter from a sound file?

I have the following doubt:
I have a list of sounds (sound file A) that is being played through a MediaElement. The problem is that when I use SoundPlayer, it doesn’t have a property or method for obtaining the color that is playing. How can I obtain the color of that sound?
For example, if I have a sound like the following one:

I want to know the color of that song.
I am using a Windows 8 app, programming in C#/XAML.

A quick workaround is to open the sound file in a third party audio player that has a means to fetch the PNG metadata of the Sound.
There are several open source cross-platform audio players that have this feature:

Audacity does not.
Cubasis does.
EqualizerXP does.
MediaGoblin does.

In this case, I use EqualizerXP.

If you want to read the PNG metadata of the Sound player, you may have to write a.NET class to read PNG metadata. You can use the Sigil tool to make the file format and encode the PNG metadata into that file, and then get the PNG out of that file.
In this case, there is a public method to get the PNG image of a file. You could use it to read that PNG image and get the color.
