I have the following scenario:
I have a table that contains a list of candidate names. When a user enters an expression (in this case “RANDOM(1,1000)”) it should return a random entry from that table. If no entries were found it should return “No results”.
I have tried the following:

This works, but I would like the expression to be more general so the same code can be used in many other tables. Is it possible to combine these queries to one, and if so, how?

There are two possibilities, zero is a root of the polynomial $P(\lambda)=\sin\lambda$.
Either it is a root, then it is an eigenvalue of $\sin(x)$, and a linearly independant eigenvector is given by $\sin(x_i)$, for $x_i$ a solution of $P(\lambda)=0$.
If it is not a root, then we can write $\sin(x)$ as $\frac{e^{ix}-e^{ -ix}}{2i}+a$, for some $a\in\mathbb{C}$. So

\sin(x)=a+\frac{e^{ix}-e^{ -ix}}{2i}.
