Key Features
Editor
The Editor is the heart of the Photoshop workstation. The Editor is a full-featured image editor that allows you to create and manipulate images using the tools and features of Photoshop.

Editor Interface
The Photoshop Editor has a user-friendly interface that contains a main menu bar at the top and three toolbars at the bottom of the screen (see figure below). Many of the tools are available for quick access by simply clicking the desired tool icon.
Figure 2. The Editor’s main menu bar is shown above, and tool icons are shown below.
The following screens demonstrate some of the Editor’s basic functions.
The Toolbar
The primary toolbar contains the tools that you use most frequently. Its layout is designed to make the most of available space. When you double-click on a tool icon to select it, it appears in the Toolbox, which is shown in the center of the Editor below the menu bar. In addition, by clicking on the tools’ icons in the Toolbox, the tools are selected and will appear when you press the space bar.
The File Manager
You can choose to display various tools on the fly by clicking on the Tools, Edit, or File menu items (see figure below).
The View menu contains the Window, Thumbnail, and Arrange modes, as shown in the following figure.

The main palette of tools is shown at the top of the Editor, whereas the Toolbox is at the bottom of the Editor, and the Console is at the bottom-left corner of the Editor. The Editor also contains the options panel (see figure below).

Read below to see the top 10 things Photoshop can do that Photoshop Elements can’t.
1. Generate seamless images
Seamless images are hard to create in Photoshop because you have to be very precise and do a lot of manual work to finish off an image. Seamless images are especially useful for taking full-body photographs or creating images that blend into backgrounds. You can generate seamless images in Photoshop by creating a new document, adding a canvas and then copying and pasting multiple layers.
In Photoshop Elements, you can crop and edit parts of an image and then use the Crop Image function to put all that back together to form a seamless image.
You can also use Photoshop Elements to crop and edit parts of an image, and then select that edit history and select the Crop Image function to put that back together to form a seamless image.
2. Open and save files in high resolution
Some images can be cropped, resized and combined to make a sharp, clear image that is perfect for sharing online. However, some images can’t be edited to make them look perfect. If you have an image that you just can’t fix, then you can use Photoshop Elements to open the file in High Res and save it as a file with a resolution of 6400. After you’ve saved the file with the same name, you can then upload it to sites like Shutterstock or iStock Photo for commercial use.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is the go-to program for high-resolution images online. It opens the file in High Res and saves it as the same file name, but with the resolution of 6400.
3. Create layers and masks
A layer is a piece of an image that’s only used for a specific purpose. Layers can be edited and moved around like sheets of paper, and when an image is layer-edited, the layers are visible so that you can see how they’re laid out. You can use layers to create complex images that blend together, create an endless number of images or to give your work a customized look.
You can’t use Photoshop Elements for creating layers or layers, but you can create your own layers in the program. Just select the Layers panel, where you can see all the layers and all the masks you’ve created. You can also drag the layers around.

All you have to do is open it up (tap inside the plastic) and wait for the pages to curl up. I used it with two different non-woven brush pad options, the sticky side of two beautiful brush pads, and a dry paper towel. Just be sure to always have something in there to soak up the resin, otherwise the pages may dry out and crack.
Step 3 – Relight the Page!
Use a flashlight to find the page you just resin treated. Open the cellophane roll as far as you can. You don’t want to accidentally light up the page for the rest of your life. You want to see the acrylic fully cured but you can’t see the page. So, turn down the lamp, or turn the cellophane roll back toward you, slowly, until you see the page! Just make sure that the lamp is pointed at the page and not directly toward the roll! Otherwise, you may inadvertently light up the roll and ruin it.
Now that you’ve lit the page, all you need to do is relight it with the spotlight!
Now you have more resin time! (Unfortunately, if you’re working on a large project, you might only have a couple of hours in the day left.)
Step 4 – Rinse and Repeat for All of the Pages!
Rinse the book. Make sure that you’ve lit the page that you want to resin treat. Then rinse the book. Make sure that you don’t use light from the lamp when rinsing. If you do, you’ll have an uneven resin-coated page. Basically, as you rinse the book, you should be working with ambient light that comes from the outside. If you use the lamp, you’ll have no ambient light. You don’t want to rinse your book a whole lot – you’ll run out of resin!
Step 5 – Dry the Book
Finally, dry the book. You need to use a heat gun or an IR heater. Don’t use a hair dryer! You’ll warp the pages. You can also use a fan. Just be careful to not blow the resin into the book. It’s sticky. Just let it dry for a few hours. The pages should be completely dry before you open the book!
Step 6 – Enjoy Your Finished Book

“What?” “I want to watch the football game.” “What’s the problem?” “You want to watch that game?” ” Yeah.” ” You said you’d take me to the game.” “Well, can we just go to the next game?” “Well, maybe I’ll just watch the news.” “No, you can’t!” “I said I’d take you to the game.” “I meant the next game.” “Oh, oh, okay.” “You know, fine.” “Then what?” ” I want to watch the football game.” ” You what?” “I want to watch the football game.” “Fine.” “I’ll take you to the next game.” “What’s the problem?” “Well, the next game is right on the other side of town.” “It’s at the other field, and there’s no parking.” “Well, that’s no problem.” “We’ll just take a bus.” “That’s a whole day you’re gonna have to miss.” “It’s just a game, Jules.” “We could… we could still go to the game.” “Fine.” “I’ll take you to the next game.” “What’s the problem?” “Well, the next game is on the highway… and that’s 300 miles away, and it’s gonna be dark.” “Well, maybe you could just watch the news, then?” “What’s the problem?” “I want to watch the football game.” “You can’t watch the game if we don’t go to the game.” ” Well, can we just watch the news?” ” I want to watch the game.” ” Fine, I’ll take you to the next game.” ” What’s the problem?” “Well, the next game is on the highway.” “It’s 300 miles away.” “It’s gonna be dark.” “Maybe you could just watch the news.” “What’s the problem?” “I want to watch the football game.” “Just watch the news!” “Fine, I’ll take you to the next game.” “That’s where we started, you know.” “The Christmas lights.” “It’s Christmas in July.” “It’s that time of year.” “It’s another Christmas.” “Oh, so it’s like we’re on some eternal holiday?” “It is that time of year.” “It’s another Christmas.” “Everyone has a good time, everything’s okay.” “But that’s not the way that it works, Tommy.” ” What’s the problem?”
