Dukto is a very easy-to-use file sharing network program that can easily be used on top of the standard Windows file transfer programs like WinSCP and WinSCP Lite.
Similar to the famous BitTorrent network, Dukto allows users to share files by downloading and uploading (seeding) them. Unlike the former, Dukto uses the local network infrastructure and also includes built-in (secure) P2P client mechanism to exchange files.
Dukto can be used either as a standalone application, or you can use the Dukto client to enable the program to handle your files automatically.
The free version of Dukto allows users to send files up to 1GB size as well as copy files and clipboard content between two computers connected to the same local network and on the same subnet (LAN). The uploading speed is around 4KB/s although the bandwidth capacity of the peer-to-peer network itself is 100MB/s.
