Creating a new document

Photoshop offers a different option for creating a new document (rather than using the canvas) when you open a file. You can use the New Document command (Edit⇒New) to bring up the New Document dialog box. Figure 4-1 shows this dialog box.

You can either create a new document using the New Document dialog box or you can create a new document by using the New button (the + symbol) on the Home tab, which opens the New from File dialog box. In this dialog box, you can browse to a folder, select a template, or choose a file type to create a new document with.

If you place your cursor on the New Document dialog box’s bottom-right corner, a drop-down menu opens that lists several different file types

What is Photoshop Elements?

The elements are number one in the five-step series of programs made by Adobe Systems Incorporated (Source: Wikipedia).

Elements is the only program of the series where you can use the program to only edit images from within your computer.

The most basic version of Photoshop comes with the Adobe Creative Suite application. It offers a wide array of features and functions such as photo editing, graphic design, web design, video editing, and so on. Photoshop Suite is a collection of the Photoshop family of programs. It includes the Adobe Creative Suite 6, a suite of editing, and publishing programs (Source: Wikipedia).

Photoshop Elements is an upgrade of the previous version of Photoshop, Photoshop Elements. It is still designed for beginners, and it does not have as many features as Photoshop Creative Suite. However, it is simpler to use than the other versions.

Adobe has been offering Photoshop Elements software since 1998. It was the first image editing software released after the decision to integrate the PhotoShop brand with the collection of software tools.

When it was first released, Photoshop Elements allowed you to edit photos, create artwork and much more. It also allowed you to create digital camera images and create web graphics. You can get Photoshop Elements 14.0.3, which includes more features than earlier versions.

Most versions come with the standard package that includes Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Bridge, and Adobe Digital Camera Viewer. However, with other versions you can include more applications that are compatible with your device. For example, with Photoshop Elements 14 you get Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Express, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Adobe Cloud, Photoshop Artboards, Adobe Mix and Adobe Publishing applications. The Software is available in many formats including both Mac and Windows.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 has been updated several times. Its latest version is Adobe Photoshop Elements 16, which was released in April 2013. It had several updates in 2014, and it received even more updates in 2015.

Therefore, it is easy to get used to the program because it does not use all the tools that are included with the professional version. However, one of the drawbacks of the program is that it does not use all the features of the Adobe Creative Suite. The program is categorized into two types: both Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Elements 14.

The Healing Brush is meant to repair images that are not perfect. As soon as you move the tool over a tear or piece of debris, you will see where to select and press Repair or Remove.
Pens allow you to draw lines using the line tool. The pencil is used for line drawing, whereas the pen is used for sketching or freehand drawing.

Update an existing xsd file when minor changes are being made in the generated code

I am doing the following
GenerateSchemaBinding -c MySchema.xsd -s MySchema.xsd.java -o
MySchema.xsd.java

Now when the contents of the xsd file change I do this
javac -d. MySchema.xsd.java

After I have the generated java file I use xjc to get the compiled xsd file and then change the xsd file and generate the binding again
xjc -d. MySchema.xsd.java MySchema.xsd
GenerateSchemaBinding -c MySchema.xsd -s MySchema.xsd.java -o
MySchema.xsd.java

Is there a way I can do this without having to re-compile the java file?

A:

I don’t know if there is any way to run it automatically, but you can always save the Java class for the schema file and run it as a Java program. I guess it is also possible to have something (ant, maven?) that can build your Java class out of a stream of the xsd files as they change.
