Step 1: Open Photoshop

Load up Photoshop and make sure you are on the first tab: Create.

Step 2: Select a stock photo

You can select a photo from your hard drive, or pull a stock photo from the web and add it to your Photoshop.

To do this, click on File.

If you are using Photoshop’s stock library, you’ll see a folder of photos inside of the main folder. Click inside of that folder to bring up the window shown below.

Using the scroll bar at the bottom, find a photo that you like. Then click on the photo to open it inside of Photoshop.

Step 3: Modify the photo

After you have selected the image you would like to work with, you can start editing the photo to make your own image.

The simple way to start is to resize the image if needed.

Click on the Photo Size button in the bottom-left corner of the workspace window.

If the size you want is not in the list, you can click the “Search Column” button, enter in the size and find the image.

You can adjust the size of the photo by dragging out from the edge of the photo.

An alternative is to resize the photo using the “Image Size” option.

Click “Image Size” on the right-hand side of the workspace window.

Step 4: Select the type of Photoshop style you want

When you open a photo in Photoshop, the default look is the “Organic” style, but there are other styles to choose from. To change the Photoshop style to one of the other available styles, click “Image” on the toolbar above the workspace window.

Click on the icon for the style you would like to use in the bottom left corner of the dialog box.

The new style will appear in the workspace window. You can then play around with Photoshop’s style tools and features in the new look.

Step 5: Create a new layer

Once you have modified the photo as you wish, you can save it as a new file in the Photoshop format with a new name.

Click on the Add Layer button in the lower left corner of the workspace window.

What is Photoshop Elements?

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a user-friendly, graphics editor. It provides the same features that professional photographers use to edit their images. Most of the features of Photoshop are also included in Photoshop Elements. But with a few differences.

Photoshop Elements is for those who want to edit their images easily. It provides the same features as the professional version but is less complicated. It is also ideal for those who want to edit photos with a casual attitude. Its features are more usable, and the user interface is much more simplified.

Photoshop Elements is available in both Windows and Mac versions. The Mac version is available for download from the Adobe website. The Windows version can be downloaded from the Windows website. You can download the latest version of the program. You can find the program on the top menu. You will find it under Home and then under Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Working with Images

Photoshop Elements is a graphic editing tool. There are a few tools included with the program. You can open files directly, view your files, edit them and even create new files.

All the tools in Photoshop Elements are very easy to use. You can find the tools you need to edit an image by clicking the top menu. The top menu is where the tools and options are found. All of the tools in Elements are marked with a blue circle. This shows that they are activated.

Click the top menu once to open the Menu Bar.

1. Open A New Document

Click the top menu to open the Menu Bar. From there, you can open a new document, make a selection, save the image, edit an existing file or even create a new file. The Menu Bar is the top navigation bar, which allows you to access the various tools available in the program.

2. Open an Existing File

To open a new file, click the top menu, and then click Open. A new blank image will open in the program. You can then drag the image into the program to open it.

2.3. Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Analysis

UV-Vis analysis was conducted to evaluate the effect of different storage times on water contact angle, the hydrophilicity of the hydrophobic surfaces. The above-mentioned samples were cut into 10 × 1 mm, and the contact angle was determined at different storage times using the Wilhelmy plate method.

2.4. Characterization
———————

X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of the m-ND surface were obtained using an X-ray diffractometer (SmartLab, Rigaku D/MAX-2500, Tokyo, Japan) at scanning rates of 5°/min in the 2θ range of 5°–60°. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs were obtained using a Hitachi S-2300 microscope. UV-Vis spectra of the m-ND surface were obtained with a UV-3600 spectrophotometer (Shimadzu, Tokyo, Japan). The fluorescence spectrum of the m-ND surface was obtained with a Hitachi F-7000 spectrophotometer (Tokyo, Japan).

3. Results and Discussion

3.1. Preparation of the m-ND Surface
————————————

The procedure for the preparation of the prepared m-ND surface is summarized in [Scheme 1](#materials-05-02967-f006){ref-type=”scheme”}. First, boron is doped by the substitution of oxygen atoms in the m-ND surface. Second, the m-ND surface is further subjected to a repeated hydrophilization and dehydrothermal treatment with water to generate a hydrophilic m-ND surface.

The m-ND surface is initially prepared using a simple low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) process \[[@B31-materials-05-02967]\]. As a typical building block of the NDs, we employed the heptamer pyrophosphate (HPP) as the dopant source. In this study, the HPP molecules are reduced to HP with a hydrogen gas (H~2~).
