I am learning AngularJS, reading the docs about controllers, services, factories and stuff. I’m also a bit confused about what’s the difference between the $http service, the factory methods and the controller methods.
I think that the $http service is the controller’s method that you can use to call an url to get the content, right? That’s what i understood from the docs. Also, the $http service is a provider, isn’t it? I just don’t know if this is the only difference, is there more? And what are the factory methods? The $http service is injected into the controller and factory as a dependency when you are wiring up your controllers and factories.
It’s a normal provider (angular docs). It provides the $http object for that object to be injected into your controllers and factories.
The factory method is just a way to create an object that your controllers and factories can use.
