NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — New Hampshire schools will be making it easier to find information and access a variety of online tools with the launch of Google Chrome, which is the search giant’s new browser.
Students and teachers will be able to open a new tab in the browser and search for anything they need.
Using the search feature, users can find anything they need, from assignments, course information or the latest news.
Google tried this before with its Google Doodle, and it’s really cool to see.
“Students will now have the power to access the data they need quickly and easily. Chromebooks will be loaded up with their Google Apps and materials like Dropbox for ease of upload to the cloud. Google Apps for Education will be supporting both Chromebooks and Windows-based computers, so students and teachers will have a consistent experience,” the company said on its blog.
There’s no word on how long the students will be able to use the Chromebooks.
But, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader, state schools are expected to obtain all the necessary information on the new browser and the devices to roll it out.
Chromebooks, which are $329 and launched in 2008, are built to be used at the same time as Internet-connected computers, and are designed to be user-friendly. They are available in eight different configurations, ranging from the $329 model with one CPU, 16GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, to the $650 model with four CPUs, 64GB of storage, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.package ca.uhn.fhir.jpa.api.dstu2.privilege;
